The Generals’ Ty Berrie hauls in an acrobatic touchdown catch against the Southern Maine Raging Bulls.

The North Shore Generals (1-1) travel to Manchester, NH to take on the NH Charge (1-1) on Saturday, August 4th at 5:00 pm at Memorial High school. The Generals are fresh off a 35- 18 win over the Southern Maine Raging Bulls, while the Charge were blanked by the Middleboro Cobras 21-0.

The Generals have been getting solid efforts this year on defense, led by 2017 AAA Defensive MVP Tony Johnson, who has already recorded 5 sacks in two games. Both Peter Bien-Amie and Edward Owens-Finch have also contributed on defense from their defensive line positions. Devaughn Goss has been steady at the safety position.

The Generals’ offense is led by rookie quarterback Nick Manthorne, who had two passing touchdowns against the Raging Bulls. Rookie running back Isaiah White has three touchdowns so far this season, two rushing and one receiving. Manthorne has a veteran receiving corps to work with that includes Dre Williams, Bobby Novello, Ty Berrie, Dimitris Denis, and others. Another rookie, Kenny Adinkra, has also been solid out of the running back position. The Generals have a veteran offensive line led by Adam and Jason Tibbetts, Aaron Samano, James Noel, Tony Gray, Shawn Tortoricci, and Joe Keith.

Kevin Donahue, the Generals GM, commented, “The NEFL AAA Conference is very competitive this season, and we should see ten weeks of great football games. We have solid organizations with solid coaching and solid rosters up and down our schedule. We look forward to the challenge.”
