Eric Forde and the Militia will host the Armor this weekend
The Western Mass Armor will travel to New Fairfield High School in New Fairfield, Connecticut this weekend to take on their divisional rival Western Connecticut Militia. The game was originally slated for Springfield Central High School but was relocated due to a scheduling mishap.
The game is a re-match of their week 6 classic won by the Militia 28-26. “That was one of the most exciting and entertaining games of the season,” said NEFL Representative Bernie Armstrong. “Solid quarterback play, great defenses, it was great. We can expect something similar this weekend.”
In addition, the winner can claim sole possession of the second seed in the playoffs and host at least one game in the post-season. “The Militia has won more games that anyone in the Southern Division over the past four season while the Armor have been playing tight games against the best teams all year. This may come down to the end once again.”
