Entering into the Final Week of the Regular Season, the top 4 has been changed!  It may be quite shocking for many, but the numbers DO NOT lie…  Coming in at #1, we have a new TOP TEAM in the CT Panthers.  Although undefeated, the Maine Sabers have moved to the #2 spot, pushing the Western CT Militia to #3 and the Southern Maine Raging Bulls remain at #4.

Below is your complete list…

2013 NEFL Power Rankings: Week 10
RANK TEAM / RECORD TRENDING COMMENTS
1
CT Panthers
8-1
Rising
Last Week: 3
When you have the No. 1 Scoring Team in the League, coupled with the 2nd Best Points Against, its easy to see why you would be ranked No. 1 this late in the season…
2
Maine Sabers
9-0
Falling
Last Week: 1
When you are striving to be the only UNDEFEATED TEAM in AAA-Level Play, its hard to consider yourself No. 2. However, you must also consider that most of the season, when faced tough opponents, there are no dominate performances. With the post-season looming how will this team compare against teams from the other divisions (Western & Southern).
3
Western CT Militia
8-1
Falling
Last Week: 2
With their only loss, coming on opening day and 9 consecutive wins later, the Militia only concern is going into the post-season healthy and trying to make it to the championship.
4
So. Maine Raging Bulls
7-2

Last Week: 4
The Bulls managed to squeeze out a 4-point victory over the much over-matched Colonials, however with Lowell on the schedule next this stampede may get caught up in the storm. UPSET ALERT!!!
5
Boston Bandits
6-3
Rising
Last Week: 6
Since the Bandits have locked up their post-season spot, its unsure how they will play going into the final week of the season. One thing for sure they want to go into the Post Season healthy as can be.
6
W.Mass Warriors
6-3
Rising
Last Week: 7
The Warriors got a quality Win last week over the Gators and this week they take on the Division leading Panthers. Its going to be an epic battle, that may be a glimpse into a possible the post-season matchup.
7
Bridgeport Gators
6-3
Falling
Last Week: 5
Traveling to NY this time of the year is very hazardous for the Gators, as they will be facing division rival Tri-State Bulldogs. Both teams are hungry and this game may prove vital for play-off seeding.
8
Lowell Nor'easter
5-4

Last Week: 8

What a way to end the regular season… Lowell vs Southern Maine! This game like many other match-ups this weekend are teasers for post-season options. This contest could determine if Lowell will be hosting a 1st round playoff game or hitting the road.
9
Tri-State Bulldogs
5-4

Last Week: 9
From “Team on the Rise,” to “A team getting SHUT-OUT,” which bulldogs will show up at home as they take on the Gators in a battle for playoff seeding. The Gators dominated the 1st Match-up 27-8, we will see if Saturday night is more of the same.
10
New Hampshire Wolfpack
4-5
Rising
Last Week: 11
If they were looking to close out the season on a high note the Wolfpack are in for some trouble as they face the Maine Sabers, who are equally trying to preserve their UNDEFEATED status.
11
No. Shore Generals
3-6
Falling
Last Week: 10
The Generals are trying to get something going as they already know their post-season status. A good effort this week will give them a much needed confidence boost.
12
Metro-West Colonials
1-8

Last Week: 12
After the season they are having the Colonials are excited to play the Bandits and try to go out a Winner. Here"s to next season…
13
Merrimack Valley Pride
1-8
Rising
Last Week: 14
With only their Pride left the Merrimack Valley players are feeling good about playing the Generals this weekend and having the opportunity to go out as Winners. Hopefully everyone will be healthy as they play their final contest of the season.
14
Hartford Whalers
2-7
Falling
Last Week: 13
Wow, not sure how they did it but the Whalers won another one. Last weekends Win over the Spartans 2-0 secured them a ticket into the post-season. Way to go Whalers. This week a rematch with 1 of the 2 teams they beat already, the Gamblers. Do you think win number 3 is on the way???
15
New Jersey Spartans
0-8

Last Week: 15
After playing a very competitive game vs the Whalers, the Spartans still managed to give the game away. This week will be interesting as they face the Militia, who drummed them earlier in the season 38 – 0.
16
CT Gamblers
0-8

Last Week: 16

No team in the league has endured more lop-sided losses than the Gamblers, however this team always come to play. Their next opponent better watch-out as they are still playing for Win number 1!
