James Wish (above) pulls in a score against the Warriors

GAME OF THE WEEK

Bridgeport Gators (5-1) @ Western CT Militia (5-1)

Week Seven

 Militia

Gators

Players To Watch

At 6'4, tight end James Wish has become a favorite target for Kevin Oberg near the end zone.

Former Militia linebacker Dante Williams is leading the Gators with 6 solo tackles per game this season.

Game Keys

Unable to establish the run in week one, the Militia will look to feature running back Lionel Assie to set up their potent passing attack.

Slowed last week against the Panthers, expect the Gators to use the speed of their receivers to get behind Militia defenders.

The Skinny

A rematch from Week 1, both teams realize the winner of this game will set themselves up for a neater path in the playoffs.

After the week one defeat, the Militia has become the hottest team in the division winning 5 straight games. The loss of receiver Ryan Mack has brought on the emergence of James Wish and Edwin Heath.

The Gators have averaged nearly 30 points per game before being derailed last week against the Panthers. Look for Dino Mancinelli (Division leading 13 TD passes) and his offensive teammates to bounce back this week.

Week 1 saw 64 points scored and the game decided on its final play. &ldquot;We've been waiting on this one&rdquot; said Militia's Dan Fasion regarding the rematch with the Gators, &ldquot;we expect this one to go to the final second again.&rdquot;
