Prior to their traditional March League Meeting, the New England Football League will provide its teams a great opportunity to get better as an organization. The league will unveil their First Annual Team Management Clinic. The clinic will provide its participants with the tools that they need to know to run a successful team in the NEFL.

“All of the NEFL teams put a lot of talent on the field each year. This is a way for those teams to learn how to win off the field,” said clinic organizer Ric Zaenglein, “we are excited to provide our teams the information they need to take their teams to the next level.”

The Springfield Falcons’ Chris Thompson will be the clinic’s keynote speaker. The Falcons are the proud affiliate of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes. Thompson, the Falcons Vice-President, is the former Marketing Director of the American Hockey League (AHL) and has made the Falcons one of the top grossing franchises in the league.

The clinics topics will include tip to acquire sponsorships, how to use the internet to boost your brand, and using the resources in your community to benefit your organization. “I think this is a great opportunity for any new team and any group that feels they’re not getting all they can out of their team,” said Board Member Bernie Armstrong. “I was a General Manager for a few different teams in my career. I would have loved a chance to learn new ideas and concepts from people who’ve been successful.”
