Maine Sabers (2-0) at So. Maine Raging Bulls (2-0)
Week Two |
Sabers |
Raging Bulls |
Players To Watch |
Chris Libby is an enforcer in the Sabers secondary. Expect him around the ball all night. |
Phil Warren has collected more rushing yards over the last 4 seasons than any NEFL runner. |
Keys To Victory |
The Sabers handling the size of the Raging Bulls offensive line with their own quickness could control the high powered running game. |
The Raging Bulls must limit the Sabers big play ability and tackle well throughout the game.
|
The Skinny |
The Sabers enter the NEFL with two consecutive wins including a barn-burner against Lowell Nor'Easter in the opener. They have made the adjustment to AAA football and look to surprise the Bulls with their team speed.
The best team in their team's 16 year history, the Bulls feels this is their season to be a representative in the AAA Championship game in November. Warren's the team's clear star; however quarterback Alexis Colon controls the pace of the game.
A true &ldquot;Civil War&rdquot; for the state of Maine. Both teams are playing at a high level and are very familiar with their opponents. Expect the team that makes the best decisions in the fourth quarter to be crowned the King of the Pine Tree State, until they meet again in a few weeks of course. |
