New England Football League AAA GAME OF THE WEEK PREVIEW: Militia vs Panthers | New England Football League

New England Football League

CT PANTHERS (3-0) @ Western CT Militia (2-1)

Week Two

Players To Watch

Tylee Flowers, the two- time NEFL Defensive Player of the Year, leads the top defense in the league.

Kevin Oberg has thrown a league leading 7 TD passes to 6 different receivers this season.

Numbers Never Lie

The Panthers have allowed an average of 75 yards of total offense per game this season and has forced 13 turnovers in only three games.

The Militia has collected over 1000 yards of offense this season including a 307 passing yards against the Bridgeport Gators in the season opener.

The Skinny

The Militia's sole lost last season came by the hands of do-everything Jamie &ldquot;Rocket&rdquot; Bryant and the Panthers in the playoffs. This off season both teams have improved their rosters and look to renew their rivalry Saturday night.

The Panthers addition of Richie Snowden gives them the proven passer they've lacked. Newly acquired receiver Kevin Taylor adds another key player to the Panthers offensive unit.

Malingered week one, the Militia defense has stiffened over the past two week. The return of safety Eric Forde is a welcomed addition to the improved secondary.

Jason Davis vs Jamar Rawles, Naciki Reid vs Dan Fasion, Gerald Patrick vs Lionel Assie, the matchups are limitless. Two teams who set a path of NEFL championship or bust set up for an epic battle. This game has the potential to be close throughout or lopsided if one team figures out how to exploit the others weakness. Either way prepare to be a part of one of the most exciting games of the season.
